Greater than one weekIf you’re going to use the thumb drive for something quick in and out then this is for you. This thing gets heated up so quick and stays hot. I feel like the heat can melt its own components if you leave it on for more tgan an hour. Could potentially fry your usb port as well.

> 3 dayI will never buy these drives again. I get errors simply trying to copy files to the drives. I never use the Sandisk software, its a waste of space. Ive formatted the drives to see if that helped and it doesnt. From now on ill stick with the cheap 3.0 drives that work.

> 3 dayThese are small (in size) and are great for storing os iso. Could have a light to indicate it is plugged in properly.

> 3 dayNot the fastest drive, and they do get a bit warm to the touch on large file transfers. Drives come formatted with a FAT partition, remember to format the drive in NTFS format if youre copying a large image (e.g. a DVD ISO).

> 3 dayI use these smaller sticks for things like LiveOSs or Bootable USBs with utilities on them. So far these have worked great.

Greater than one weekI normally love SanDisk products, but... If youre not in a big hurry or are just writing something once only, these are probably fine for you. If you are writing and rewriting large amounts of small files these are too slow to be efficient. I bought 2 five packs of these I opened the first, found they were no where near USB3.0 spec speeds (or even 2.0 for that matter) and sent the other back. Consider your need. If you are putting some pictures or songs on these and can leave it copying while you do other things and then just use the drive with what you stored on it, These might work for you. If you are using these in business, look for something else. 5 drives came with only 2 lanyards, ???

> 3 dayPrice is great. Theyre pretty slow, like most generic USB drives. But I would buy them again for the price/benefit I get out of the.
