Wanted a 256G USB drive to backup archived pictures and videos from my computer. This drive is a USB 3.0 which was at least 10 times faster than my 2.0 USB drive. I was able to copy 250G of data in about hour 1/2 compared to 10 hours using the 2.0. Very satisfied with it.

This was a great value for a small HD without going to a 2.5 HD

Sandisk is a great product. Never had a failure. Does get warm while uploading/downloading.

I had this for less than a year and had barely used it at all. It was simply a backup that I used to store ALL of my photos. I was updating it with my newer photos and it froze windows explorer. After the freeze-up it was no longer recognized by windows in any of my USB ports. Basically its a tiny $60 brick that i barely got any use out of...
