Sandpiper of California 6601-O-BLK Business Bugout Garment

I purchased this to match my other 3 SOC bags and love it just as much. I have stuffed it full with 5 uniforms and had no issues. It does get a bit tight folding up but once closed and strapped, it doesnt go anywhere. The backpack straps are a big bonus as well, I find myself using those more than the shoulder strap.

I was all stoked to get this bag use it for my bike-ride to work. I received it yesterday and It is already coming apart! This is rediculous. I did read a review about another customer having the same issue but I ignored it. DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT!. Its a great idea but poor execution. If I didnt need it I would be sending it back pronto!

The inside zipper does not go all the way around the area where you place your clothes. It makes the clothes wrinkled just trying to pack.

Will hold multiple items, plus has additional pockets on inside and outside... Can carry a lot more than I thought I would be able to... Sturdy construction... Sized just right for carry on

Had the bag for a little more then a year before the main zipper started binding. 2 weeks ago the zipper pull completely failed and useless. Full disclosure: The bag was gently used 2-3X a month.

Bought this bag specifically to use as carry on for cross-country train trip, worked like a charmed. Bag was overstuffed to compensate for luggage restrictions and last minute care package carry-on for train, and it exceeded expectations. Backpack straps enabled me to carry it on my chest with duffle bag and 2 carry-ons. On return plane trip, used as checked baggage, and it performed well again. The zipper on the main compartment is short, which makes loading garments a bit awkward on anything but a flat surface; however it provides some storage below the garments. No dedicated shoe compartment; although, with proper packing shoes could go in several other places. Overall, a good addition to my luggage collection.

I contacted the company before purchasing to get some info on the bag since there was only 1 picture available. I received a reply the same day and ordered the bag via Amazon. When I unpacked it it seemed good - utilitarian, light, and the right size for a 2 day business trip. Once I packed the bag the stitching attaching the shoulder strap tore on one side the first time I picked it up. The tear exposed the metal backing but since I needed to leave for the airport I didnt have time to repack. The bag survived the trip but obviously it isnt a quality product. I returned the product to Amazon for a refund. I e-mailed the same person I contacted before the sale to let them know my experience and received no response. So,Sandpiper has a lousy product and lousy customer service.

Bought these for my sons and nephew - they all LOVE LOVE LOVE the trifold backpack - holds a lot, clothes do not wrinkle (individually placed items in plastic cleaner bags). Now I buy it as graduation gifts
