Cannot leave home without it! My wife calls this her secret weapon in our war on baby terror. This toy functions as a rattle, hand/eye coordination development aid, chew toy, utility hooks, and parental sanity aid. Our baby likes to suck on it while playing, so its reassuring its BPA free & Phthalate compliant according to sassybaby website. Of all the toys and rattles, this is by far my 4 months old babys favorite. Whenever she starts to fuss or cry while were out, we just jiggle this in front of her, and its soft clacking sound and bouncing colors always calm her down immediately. Its amazing how fascinated she is by this toy! It also has a lot of surface to easily grasp by (one-handed or two) and varied textures (some rings are lumpy, some smooth, some ribbed). You can also interlock the rings into a chain as an alternative form of toy or utility hook (be careful it doesnt become a strangulation hazard). Its also compact enough to fit in a pocket or stroller cup holder. To keep the baby occupied during meals out, we mount it dangled above the baby on the carrier/stroller handle using a looped pacifier strap like

This is probably the babys favorite toy. I leave them linked together and she entertains herself. Good for teething... hanging toys from car seat. I attach to high chair when out in public so they dont hit the floor

I ordered two of these ring o links because my daughter and I both love this product. My daughter simply loves playing with this. Her favorite link is the black and white which she frequently uses as a teething ring. This toy is perfect for on-the-go and it doesnt take up a lot of space in my diaper bag. I can simply take this toy wherever we go and itll keep my daughter entertained. I love the different textures and colors. The best thing about this toy is that it is BPA free. It states it on the packaging. I was receiving conflicting reviews from moms who say that this is or this is not BPA free, so I contacted Sassy and received the following email from them: Thank you for your email. We have used all the toys in this set and my daughter loves them. Just be aware that the rubber for the ball and the rattle will pick up dirt and things because it is somewhat of a sticky type material - great for her to hold on to, but picks up dirt and things. However, it washes easily with just water so not a bit deal for us. We bring the chain links with us wherever we go - love them!

At a baby shower, I had been given a plastic baby key ring set, and my 4-month old baby loves them. I was thinking of buying another set to keep in the car, but then spotted the Ring O Links, and realized that it would probably maintain its appeal for much longer as he outgrows baby keys. When they arrived, I was very pleased with the quality, and I knew they were the right choice. Not only can he play with these like baby keys, we can also link them into a chain and hang them from his activity gym or stroller. Or I can split them apart into two sets of rattles so we can have something fun for him to hold in different places, like the changing table. I know hell continue to have fun with these later when he can link and unlink them himself. Great buy!

Bought when my son was almost 3 months. It was perfect to hang on the love every playmat. He would reach for it and it was a great way to introduce him to different textures. He is now 7 months and still uses this to play with and teeth on. 100% recommend for parents with young children.
