> 3 daySuper easy to setup and begin using with HomeKit. Less than 5 minutes from plug-in to using. Independently controlled outlets make this a real great deal.

> 3 dayConstantly disconnecting and non responsive, only smart home device I own that behaves this way. Get the Meross dual outlet instead.

> 3 dayBought several Satechi products before so didn’t hesitate with this purchase. It was easy to set up, just downloaded the app and scanned the Satechi outlet. Being able to plug in two things is a big plus and the energy monitoring is a nice touch. Recommend for any smart home!

Greater than one weekThis was quite easy to set up. No issues. Integrated with Homekit easily. I havent done extensive testing on its power monitoring, but that feature is less important to me. It works as expected.

Greater than one weekI was looking for a smart home plug to replace my second WeMo Insight that died (thats the second one in two years, so caveat emptor: WeMo Insights have a really short lifespan), and this one seemed like it might do the trick. Installation and set up in the app was quick and easy. It was also quick and easy to see that the only way you could find any information about power usage was to open the Satechi app. It doesnt even report in use/not in use status with Apple HomeKit the way the WeMo Insight does. So its obviously possible to have that functionality, but that might actually take some programming that goes above and beyond checking a feature list item. Why is it useful to know whether the switch is in use/not in use (which is not the same as on/off, its more like, drawing power/not drawing power). Its useful for reporting when appliances that are doing stuff for you have completed their chore. Like the clothes drier for example. Using the WeMo Insight, when the clothes drier completed its cycle, the WeMo app would send me a notification that the switch was no longer in use (not drawing power), so I knew the load had finished. Likewise, the Insight and the WeMo switches are supported on IFTTT, so I could run some automation integration with HomeKit, like playing a drier finished tone on my HomePods to alert me to the fact that the drier had stopped. Its too bad. The Satechi switch seems really well built, and heavy duty enough to last. But as often happens with hardware companies, they fail to recognize the potential value of taking the software to the next level of functionality. In their rush to get a well built hardware product into the world and start making sales, they deliver something run by software thats not truly useful to their target market. Then they end up having to turn that sale into a refund.

> 3 daypurchased this item and had hopes it would be easy set up - however upon plugging in and attempting to connect to my wifi the homekit app stated that it could not connect to my wifi network. I use an apple router so was confused by this. I was very disappointed in this and so am returning the product.

> 3 dayDo yourself a favor and dont buy this. I recommend some other brand that your trust. I bought several plugs from satechi. All of them constantly lose connective and become unresponsive. You will have to manually reset them and set them back up which is a pain in the ____. This product is crap. I have a WeMo plugs and that always seem to work. Satechi product was not ready for release to consumers.

> 3 dayPros: Dual individually controllable outlets! HomeKit certified Has manual on/off toggle for each outlet Energy consumption monitor App is great when working too Cons: App is spotty - what I mean is until a recent update it wouldn’t open (just crash). The app when working is much better than the competition UI (design) wise.
