I play my switch in handheld mode about 50%-75% of the time. This grip completely changed the feel and how I support the weight of the system. My hands/fingers feel free to manipulate the controls without simultaneously needing to support the device. It took a little getting use to at first, particularly for platformers (at least for me), but I cant imagine not having it. Its easy to pop the switch in and out to dock it. I havent noticed any marks or wear on the joycons from sliding the system in and out. I do so with a little care and havent had any issues. For real, I love this grip. If you think you might like it, youre probably right.

When I first got my Switch I played handheld almost exclusively. I played Breath of the Wild and only discovered after beating the game about this grip. It wouldve made my experience 10x better having it from the start and I wish someone wouldve told me about it. It makes the Switch ergonomics much more enjoyable to hold for prolonged periods of time.

This makes holding onto my switch so much easier. I have a weird habit of putting my pinkies under the screen to help support the weight of the switch, but with this I no longer do that. It helps make the switch more ergonomic.

The fit is a little tight but I dont think its anything to worry about. My Switch OLED slid in easy enough and I havent had any issues removing or replacing it. Very ergonomic grip and feels great in my hands. Noticeable difference in comfort during extended gameplay. Very satisfied!

If you plan on actually using the switch features of your switch do not get this case. Continual grip attachment and removal will cause scratches to your switch tablet and scratches to the paint on your joy cons. The grip is comfortable, but steer clear if you would like to fully use your console without damaging it.

It works well, and makes my switch more comfortable, but its a little too expensive.

Amazing grip. It puts my hands where I tied to put them but now theres something there. Thumb sticks dont really work but theyre such a small part of it they dont take a star off My only small problem with the grip is that it is harder to feel the vibration of the controllers. This isnt a big deal for most games, but games like Skyrim and Mario were you need to feel vibrations can be annoying with the grip on. Again, not a big deal. Definitely buy , but not for the thumb grips.

This grip makes handheld mode feel incredible. I dont have any controllers aside from the joy-cons. After only using the straps and joy-con grip, this made me want to only play in handheld mode. The only time I would play on docked mode was if my battery was weak, or I didnt want to drain my battery. So my message to you is that you play handheld mode even once a week, just get yourself a grip.
