There are other similar lights on the market that function as daytime running lights. This light utilizes your factory headlight harness and only comes on when you activate your high beams.

Greater than one weekSuper easy install. Super bright. Not sure why Yamaha doesn’t make this standard. Unsure on longevity but for now it’s a must have for R Max owners. I got the LED bright version.
