It is a great monitor, was skeptical at first but now satisfied with the purchase.

Ill first say, I dont game. I use this monitor to watch anime, [1080p] movies, and YouTube videos. And general usage otherwise. I love the monitor. It looks fantastic. I do wish the blacks were a little brighter, sometimes it feels like dark scenes are TOO dark... but I think I just havent played around with the settings enough. Either way though, great monitor. Im considering buying a second one to replace my smaller AOC monitor. Ive had it for over a year now, and have had zero issues with it. **Edit: I didnt play with the settings enough. I found the back light option, and now everything is great. Still definitely a 5-star monitor for my needs, though. Im about to buy a second one to replace my AOC.

This monitor is okay, its not best in a few ways. The power button is not in the best position compared to others that I have used; its behind the screen on the bottom right. If you are looking for monitor with built in speakers to rely on, this ones not it. I was barely able to hear anything on max volume unless you are in complete silence, then it will sound ok.

Overall, a good buy. not my first sceptre product. I also have a 75hz monitor I still use for gaming at another residence. The only issue with that one, which I also see being an issue with this one is the stand. My 75hz cracked, and I had to buy a third party stand, which was loads better than what It came with. This monitor also has a similar stand construction: very flexy, and plasticy. I do not see it lasting... But if it breaks.. for the price point and value, Ill just buy another stand for 25 bucks thats heavier and durable. Game quality, in my opinion, is great. The step up from 75 to 144 was noticeable. No tearing with vsync, running at 1080p. Games like Division 2, MS Flight Sim, and RAINBOW 6 woke up with this monitor. Most people thing the brand is off brand.. and in a way it is. But youre getting good quality at a lower price point. If this monitor lasts 5+years with heavy gaming, Ive gotten my moneys worth.

When I leave my moniter idle, sometimes but not always, the display will stop working entirely on my display port connection. It fixes itself if I unplug it for a few seconds, but its an inconvenience. It may just be my GPU, but as I dont have a second one to compare with, its what Im left with. Other than that the moniter is great.

I don’t know know much about high quality monitors or TV’s. However this monitor is far better than my previous one. The details are sharp and clean. The colors are vibrant and lush. But the speakers sound worse than my IPhones. But that is a minor complaint since I wear headphones while playing. I’ve been playing games at 165 HZ and it is a different experience all together. I love it

Nice monitor for the money. However, the speakers are lacking. If the speakers were better it would get 5 stars easily.

A lot of reviews pointed out the value for the price and Im sure Id agree if I stuck with it. Im not doing that, though, because mine shipped with some dead pixels and Im just obsessive enough to not just look past it. Its got a good form factor and takes up very little space for how stable it feels. Its nice and bright and sure looks a hell of a lot better than the old TV I was using. But Im not keeping it.

the monitor works great, honestly an amazing monitor for the price of $200 when i got it back in november. wouldve been more than happy with it. HOWEVER, for some reason around 2-3 months ago it started beeping???? i know its the monitor because everytime it turns off it stops. it starts off very light with long intervals then goes up to a loud beep+click 4 times per SECOND. it becomes very annoying. i know its not my pc because i got a second monitor that works fine, no beeps. i contacted sceptre via live chat and email and nothing works.
