Schaeffer Manufacturing Co. 0700CK4-012 SynShield Durability Advantage 15W-40 Diesel Engine Oil, 12-Quart Bottle (Pack of 12)

I use this oil in a 2007 F-350 SRW 6.0 bulletproofed powerstroke and also a 2020 Ford F-450 6.7. It meets the Ford spec and its one of the best oils in a Ford diesel. I have analysis and used delvac, rotella, delo and Amsoil. Best mpg, best wear protection. In 8k miles in a 6.0, total of 9ppm for iron and 3 for copper.

I love the oil but am very disappointed in the condition it was received.

Would give this 10 stars if I could. Oil makes my Cummins a lot more quiter. Doesnt shiver like a chiwawa anymore and oil change intervals now at 7k miles.

This is a good product, this price was better than what Schaeffer direct offered. To get better, my order would have to be a lot bigger. The convenience of delivery was helpful. At one time there was much less costly Chinese alternative but no longer available and it didnt have the ratings CK that this purchase offered.

I’ve been running Rotella in my personal and fleet trucks for quite some time now. Just got delivery of my new Ram 3500 limited(comes from factory with T5 rotella)…or so I’m told. Fast forward 2 weeks I put 2k miles on her and that’s right around the time I do my first oil change on all my diesels. I decided to grab this stuff on a recommendation from a good friend, didn’t expect nothin much of it as a difference from rotella. Boy oh boy was I wrong. Right after driving off from said oil change I could easily feel and hear the engine performing differently in a good way obviously, fast forward a few days and I went from 13.4 mpg to almost 16. Did not change a dam thing other than oil. Still driving the same if not faster. From now on all my trucks are running this oil.

So, I started using this product in my fleet since the Supreme 9000 5W-40 CJ-4 is not recommended for newer EGR/SCR equipped vehicles. Two things Ive noticed: 1. The oil stays cleaner much longer 2. The buses use much less DEF. Because this is made by Schaeffers, I trust that the durability will hold up and keep my equipment running for many miles.
