Schluter KERDI-BOARD-SN: Shower Niche 12x12

The Schlueter-Kerdi Panels combine into a great System. The 12x12 Niche is an essential part to a complete shower - like all Kerdi panels its easy to install and ready to tile once installed. It is NOT pre-sloped. A bit on the pricey side (like all Schlueter Products).

4 star instead of 5 because of incorrect listed dimensions. I’m a tile contractor. As someone else pointed out.. this unit’s rough is 16x16 outside flange [13 x 13 OD of the body] (as shown in pics) NOT 18” x 17.3 or whatever they have it listed as. This is important for anyone framing out an RO inside the wall or cutting out wallboard without the unit in hand, while say, waiting for the unit to arrive ... which I ALMOST did but fortunately since I was warned by another reviewer, didn’t. Thank you! So just paying it forward. Why on earth they still perpetuate the myth of this thing being the wrong size I do not know. Old dimensions maybe. Will change to 5 star if they fix the issue. As otherwise this box is good quality (as are all schluter products imo) & performs as advertised if/when properly installed. -Eric All ANGLES•Tile and Bath

The item is fine, seller fine. I would however, think that Schluter would include the screws needed with the product.

This was very easy to put in, way easier than building on myself. Saves a lot of time.

Works great, no issues

I used to frame in niches which was labor intensive and required wrapping in Kerdi, which is not a tidy task. This product saves time and is a much neater and accurate method.
