Disappointed with the return policy. The item is great but in the process of remodeling our bathroom we are now outside of the 30 day return policy and havent even opened the product but cant return it when its no longer needed.

Here is the deal are these different than the knock offs, probably not, but if you have a problem and you used Schluter branded products they have your back. Spend the extra money and buy the real deal.

This is a much better design than the first gen of outside corners, really easy to slather thinset around. If you think you may need 10, buy the 10 pack, its much more cost effective.

If your shower has corners, you need the preformed corner pieces! They come made for interior and exterior corners. I have installed three showers in my home and tiled several bathroom floors. Even using cement board, I wouldnt do it without Kerdi, at least at the corners and corner edges. My sense is that eventually water can get anywhere, and you do not want a leaky wall or floor in or near your shower or tub. If properly applied, the Kerdi will prevent any water from seeping or leaking behind your walls or floors.

My only complaint is how expensive these are.

Im sold on Schluters products and though I didnt need 10 of these Im sure I will use them sooner or later. WAY easier than trying to fold the corners.
