SCHMETZ Microtex (Sharp) (130/705 H-M) Sewing Machine Needles - Carded - Size 90/14

Worked great in my Brothers CS6000I machine when I was sewing a DIY backpack. I was using 1000D Cordura Nylon, a thinner suede, and nylon ripstop, all attached with Gutermann MARA 50 thread. These Microtex Sharp Needles worked well. There was still a few corners that a stronger machine would have been nice, but thats not the fault of the needles.

Ive found that universal needles are ok. but on woven cotton of heavier weight. the machine sounds like a train. using the microtex is like the old style Sharps that are so hard to find. So glad their sold on Amazon. The work well whether they are size 9 or 14. Keeps the machine humming smoothly.. So glad, whether Im masking or altering. Perfect

I love these needles because they are sharp and I do a lot of top stitching. They seem to last a little longer than other needles I have used. I rarely use any other needles.
