love this hard to find color

Beautiful natural skin tone base. With this I have a great base to start any skin tone, including some lovely darker tones. Would recommend for any portrait painter

Just wow, Better than an watercolor I have used. I like that it isnt so granulated like Daniel Smith. It looks so clean and has such an intense color. This is like getting M Graham but in a pan.

Arrived and received what I expected

This paint is professional quality, however there are much better sepia shades out there then this one, mine was very badly cracked and flaky when I received it,and compared to my other sepia colours it just isnt the best. I recommend royal talens Rembrandts sepia instead.

Arrived 22 days after shipping (from UK to USA). Nice fuschia color. The only bummer is that these half pans are smaller than US half pans, so not as much paint :( You can see that in my second photo.

I currently live in a city that has no really excellent art supply stores so I was very happy to be able to purchase Schmincke pan watercolors through Jacksons Art and Amazon. I love the rich colors in the Schmincke line of watercolors and wanted to supplement a previously purchase set of Schmincke pan watercolors with some additional colors. Im very glad to have been able to purchase these here!

High sheen, and a color similar to gold leaf. A great additional to my watercolor palette.

Schmincke has always been exquisite fine art supply. I find it mean to read negative reviews only because the color broke, a little water would fix it. I love everything from Schmincke Horadam.
