If you want to spend lots and lots of frustrated time, unraveling Scotts packing tape, go for it. Ive found this tape splits constantly leaving me to waste tons of time trying to get it back to the regular width. I wish I knew of other packing tapes, but use it or not, it stinks.

Most Scotch tapes for office have a pull tap which makes it easy to open the roll to start dispensing the tape. In this item there is no pull tab, and the place to pull is invisible. Tried several spots with no luck. Several examinations with my experienced fingers did not detect any edge to pry open. Thus: WARNING This tape roll may be difficult or impossible to open.

Tape seems fused in a solid mass with no unglued starter tab! Dispenser directions illustrated on tiny tab of paper in grey ink on white paper. Big pain in the a _ _ !

I always keep this on hand for many things...torn book page, articles Iwant to save, etc.
