This tape is probably the best possible. Very strong and durable. I have bought at least thrice. The sticking is fantastic on paper boxes as well as Styrofoam. The tape does not break, like some others do when you apply a lateral tearing force, like you may apply when tearing cloth. Which makes it slightly difficult to cut, but worth the extra efforts in terms of safety.

Ive tried other brands, but none stay stuck as well as Scotch! In warm conditions or very cold conditions, Scotch Packaging Tape adheres well and stays in place. I use if for shipping packages of all sizes and weights, and Ive never had a customer tell me that the taped seams worked loose. Tape is a bit heavier (thicker) than some of the others, but is easy to cut and apply, even with the economical plastic dispensers. Using Scotch Packaging Tape, I pack it, and ship it, and have no worries about the tape failing in shipment! After trying the other brands, I now place my trust in Scotch!

This Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape is definitely the strongest packing tape Ive found. It could be a little stickier on cardboard but if you press against it to make sure its firmly on it usually stays put.

I use it for shipping boxes. Its easy to dispense. Holds good and solid. Ive had the cheap lightweight stuff and got tired of wasting time and yardage juggling flimsy strips sticking to itself. What a relief.
