Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape, 2 x 800 - Clear (3 Tapes) (1, Clear)

I tried going with the local drugstore brand or other cheap brands for a while, and finally learned that what makes Scotch Heavy Duty so much better is not only that the Scotch brand is stronger (if youre worried about the tape tearing on a rough handled box) but an even bigger quality of life issue is that it is SOOOO much easier to get the tape started off the role if for some reason it gets stuck back down. First of all that hardly every happens, the edge generally stays loose or stays where it should at the cutting edge of the dispenser, but even when and if it does get stuck back onto the role, its not impossible to lift it up and get it going again. In contrast to this, all the other cheaper brands - the tape would be super hard to find that loose edge, would stick back down constantly and the tape would easily SPLIT while trying to get it unstuck from the roll and youd end up with a ribbon of tape while half stayed stuck down. Well anyway, those days are gone, Im just springing for this more expensive tape and leaving my headaches and irritation behind.

You know.... Its tape after all. it is sticky on one side, on the other it is shiny. It sticks to things, and tastes awful.

Purchased this to use around the house and to make sure there was always a roll of tape handy. It works great for taping up all the boxes of Christmas decorations. It is nice, thick tape; not the really thin kind that always splits making it hard to find the end of the tape to get it going again. I personally have a bit of a problem getting the tape cut smoothly but I think that is more because of my dexterity (lack of) since no one else in the house has a problem with it.

Its totally great except there ought to be some preventative measure or way to stop from accidental sticking back to roll. I can never get them unpeeled from its own tape. This is no different than any of these type products. Just wish there was one out in market that had that trick. Meanwhile, it works very well as expected. Dispensers have never broken & tape dispenses flat & clear.

One of the dispenser broke and had to use more than anticipated to get it to stay adhered.

The best clear packing tape you can buy. This tape works well when preparing packages for mailing. The adhesive is great allowing the tape to do its job. This tape is sturdy but still easy to tear with the built in cutting edge.
