Well, I tried it on a cat food can with the label glued in one spot and it works. Better then a fingernail. I did have to restart the removal process once, so it is not perfect.

I just had an opportunity to use one of these for the first time today. They make life so much easier, and save time and my fingernails! Havent had an opportunity to use the metal one yet, but its sure nice to have it available for when its needed.

These label removers are great - I have used them for removing several labels, including USPS labels that were really well stuck down! Definitely worth getting. Just take your time and I think most labels will peel off. Be careful with the metal blade - it is sharp.

What a great invention! This sturdy set of four Scotty Peelers saved me a lot of time this Christmas as I repurposed Amazon boxes for wrapping and mailing gifts. They make quick work of labels that used to cost me patience and fingernails. Im buying sets to use as gifts.

Very handy, makes removing labels simple

These are awesome. I had to remove a bunch of stickers and decals from my husbands car and these things worked amazing. These decals were like a million years old, there would have been no other way to get them off. This made the job so easy.
