This is a great product. Very little ghosting, no bleed through. If they had a larger size option it would be perfect for me!

I’ve had my eye on Scribbles that Matter for a little over 2 years now. Before, I wasn’t jumping to buy one because I didn’t need an index for the way I do my bullet journal, but when there was something I DID need an index for, this was the journal I wanted for it. I’m so glad I did because this is an amazing bullet journal! Mine arrived in this cute, sturdy cardboard slip case with doodles on it, and even came with a Scribbles that Matter fineliner! The paper is incredibly smooth and really thick. I’m used to using 100/120 GSM, so 160 GSM is the thickest I’ve ever had, and there is no bleed-through, no ghosting, nothing!!! Much like many others, I use pencil to outline everything before I ink the page up and it is remarkably easy to erase any mistakes in this journal!! I’m about 60 pages in and I have yet to run into the issue of accidentally crinkling a page when I’m erasing something. If you’re new to bullet journaling, a BuJo vet, or just want a nice, reliable journal to use, I definitely recommend this one. If I could give 6 stars, I would! One thing I should note, however, is that because of the fact the journal comes with the elastic closure around the cover and perhaps because it’s been stored for however long in the wear-house, there is a small imprint of the band on the top and bottom of the cover. It’s barely noticeable, and entirely cosmetic. It doesn’t ruin the integrity or quality of the journal itself, but I know there are some people that like to be aware of this beforehand. It’s still an amazing journal and I couldn’t recommend it enough!

I love the doodles on the cover and the contrasting colors. The pages are a good weight, so there isn’t much ghosting and the pages are smooth and creamy, so extremely nice to write on. I wish there were a even number of spaces between dots on every page, it would make it easier to divide panels for bullet journaling and such. There is also a large blank space on the top and bottom of every page. It’s twice the size on the bottom which seems unnecessary and a waste of good space.

It was a lot better than I was expecting. About 10 more pages than the STM journal I was replacing, a metal rivet to hold the pen strap on, and subtle markers for the center dots. There were a few defects though, such as little indents where the strap has been struggling to hold the pages together. Also, my pen test page was stuck to the next Mindfullness page; pulling them apart caused that little fuzzy rip effect on both pages. It was a small section on the top edge. A neutral comments about it too, is that the spine looked more square compared to my old journal, which had a rounded spine. Also the dots are slightly offset from the corners.

This is my first billet journal and Im Obsessed. I love how this one comes with a key and a couple index pages so I dont have to draw those in too. It lays almost completely flat and it has a little pocket and the back of the book for folded papers or other little things you might want to stash.

I think its a great journal. The color is really pretty. The paper seems durable. 2 things that kept me from giving it 5 stars: - the pen holder isnt wide enough to accommodate my Pentel energel pen - the cover arrived with nicks and dents in the surface- and for the cost of the journal I wasnt pleased.

I love the journal but I was a little disappointed that the top edges were folded in because of the tight wrapping around the journal. But other then that I think this is the best journal to do bullet journaling in.
