Greater than one weekwe purchased a couple of fishes from Pet co and sadly within the first week lost two female guppies. we tested the waters temperature all good, tested the pH level and got a 6.2 not so good. we did a water change of about 25% of the tank and hoped this was adjust the pH. it didnt, we lost a tetra next. after doing another test we found the hardness of our water was off. did some research and saw this item was recommended. safe to use with fish, please slowly add into water so it dissolves or else they think its food. few days letter tested the water and we were at a pH level of 7 PERFECT!

> 3 dayIt does exactly what Seachem says it does. Itll raise your PH little by little while increasing your KH. Easy to understand and use.

Greater than one weekI have soft water from my tap and have very low KH. I use this to increase my KH. It will also increase PH. Work as intended. I add after every water change to maintain a KH of around 5 and my PH is around 7.4.

07-06-2025My tap water has a very low KH (1d) and a reasonably high pH (7.5). Because of this the pH can be unstable in my 125 litre community tank. I use the Alkaline Buffer along with the Acid Buffer to raise my KH by 2 or 3 degrees without affecting my pH. The Buffers are easy to use and last for quite a while, depending on what tub size you go for. All of my fish, including the sensitive German Blue Rams, are happy and healthy.

Greater than one weekI have a planted aquarium. Works well with Equalibrium to get KH and GH where you need it using reverse osmosis water.
