Seachem Prime Water Conditioner, 2 Liter

Of course it works perfectly, but the seller I got it from sent it in a terrible envelope package & it got smashed in at the top, so it was leaking. It needed a box of its stuffing around it to be protected

I use this product a lot. Buying bulk was the better way to go. It did not come with the pump top. That’s fine. Will buy again.

This is a must have chemical to always have on hand in the saltwater aquarium hobby. You can never overdose and it works fast to help stabilize the aquarium. You can also use this product in freshwater aquariums as well.

I have multiple fish tanks. I wanted a lot for a little. Exactly as expected.

I want to rate this 5 stars. I really do. As a water conditioner, its great. Does the job very well. But I have come to find that it will bleach out any fabric it touches. Be very careful. We have a lot of fish tanks, and thus use a lot of prime. Since starting using Prime, I started to notice that some of my towels were getting bleach spots. I dont use bleach. Not even for cleaning. I brushed this off, but it continued. Several of my shirts Id had for years started having the same issue. Now permanently ruined. It was a mystery, until I connected the dots that I had done water changes in these shirts. I would wipe off my hands (which got prime and water recently treated by prime on them) on my shirt and towels. There are no warnings on the bottles that indicate it will bleach out your clothing. I have seen reddit posts where this happened and the people say Seachem told them Prime couldnt have caused it, but it does. I am now out several shirts that were favorites because of this, many of which will be costly, difficult, or impossible to replace. I have included a photo of one. You can see the bleach spots are only along the bottom where hands would be wiped. Several nice towels are also ruined. Again, there are NO WARNINGS on the bottle to indicate in any way that this will ruin fabrics it comes into contact with.

My fish tank is much better with all the Seachem products I use. Value, well in my opinion you get what you pay for. I highly recommend this product to anyone!

Great water treatment.

After keeping several aquariums for several years and trying a few products, I feel that Prime is the safest and best water conditioner.

I have kept fish for years, couldnt do it as successfully without this product, works great for fish-in cycling, I was even successful with cycling my latest tank with Rummynose Tetras which are notorious for being the canaries of the aquarium. I use the powdered form, SAFE in my pond. I have never found another dechlorinator that does everything this one does.
