Extremely easy to install and its super-fast. I cant tell the different between playing games on this drive versus playing on the internal console drive. I dont know if theres a speed difference to ram, but I did notice that on COD MW2 and Last of Us Part 1 when played on the console drive, there were some occasional lags. Since Ive moved those games to this drive, the game play has been seamless. Maybe its a coincidence. I dont know. But, performance is clearly top notch with this drive. Highly recommend for any PS5 owner.

The SSD failed after 3 months inside PS5. It intermittently shutdown by itself during rest mode and eventually not detected at all.

I had a minor problem, but thanks to Amazons friendly service, I can exchange it for a new product without much difficulty. The new product works well with the B550 system without any problems, is quite fast, and the temperature is stable.

Theres not much to say other than its a typical Gen 4 PCIe SSD that went into my PS5 where it works perfectly. Typically I steer towards Samsung models of SSD when adding storage to my PCs, but Ive had some good luck with Seagate HDDs in recent years so I thought Id try out one of their SSDs when looking to expand my PS5s storage.

It was super easy to install in my playstation, and the reading,moving,and download speed to and from it is pretty fast.....i dont have the best net but it downloads a ps5 game thats bigger then a ps4 one as fast as me downloading the ps4 game to my external :)

Performing nearly 200% under average user benchmark. Originally 400% above. Worked great for 6 months and then BAM, garbage. The Seagate tool for updating firmware, tuning not working at all. Huge disappointment.

Bought this b/c all the PS5 reviews. I finally got mine direct from Sony. Installed...nothing. POS does not work with PS5. Tried in my PC and it works just fine. Went back the PS5, nothing! Junk!
