Its pretty expensive but I guess its worth it. I bought the PS4 Slim so i needed alot more space. Just to clarify: This is only EXTENDED STORAGE/ NOT A BACKUP HARD DRIVE. You need to purchase a separate item to back your games and info onto which kinda sucks. But works really well and was really easy to setup.

Worked as intended, now a have a ton of games installed

It was for my son and he said it was perfect for his PlayStation gave him more storage for his games.

Im highly disappointed that this HD that seems to be purposely produced for the PS4 only lasted 3 months. During my usage, the HD had disconnected a few times, but I managed to get it to connect again. Then yesterday it just stopped connecting permanently while I was playing a game. I havent contacted technical support, so I see what help they will offer, but until then its a negative experience for me. Save yourself the inconvenience and buy a different external HD for the PS4.
