Just recieve this as a gift tried on 3 different devices and it does not work.

We’ve had this drive for about a year and it no longer works. The drive is about 20% used to capacity so not even half filled and the PlayStation no longer can access the drive. It worked great until one day it didn’t. This item was too expensive for it to die in a year. I wish I could get my money back!!!! We lost everything that was on it!!!

Everything about this purchase was good. Item tested using long test and passed so all good and expect no future problems.

I bought this hard drive for extra storage on my PS4 and it worked perfectly... until it stopped working out of nowhere. I never dropped it, or had my power abruptly shut off while it was storing data. I tried to format it and fix it on my PC and it never worked. The hard drive only lasted me 7 months, so not even a full year and I paid over $100 for this? Not to mention customer service is TRASH. If you want a great hard drive that lasts a long time, stay away from Seagate. Try Western Digital or anything else.

Its its super nice buying a PlayStation SSD hard drive because its much much faster and very very easy Dont forget if you want to unhook the new hard drive you need to hold down the PlayStation button and go down to stop using extended storage and then you can unplug the hard drive.

I currently live in the U.S and I’ve purchased multiple, new external hard-drives for console from Seagate and every single one I received from them had an expired warranty and the serial number is from another country. I called Seagate to get a hard-drive fixed, I was even willing to pay for and they said the Seagate store on Amazon isn’t their responsibility. So people who buy items from here should stop.

Just got it in, easy set up, a monkey can do it. I love it, cleared up a lot of room on the ps4, and barely took any room on the external hhd.

It’s great easy to hook up and format. Allowed me to break out games I had to delete due to lack of space.

I like the 4tb size, great. Installation was very easy. I have been using it for a month now and it seems to work perfectly. I did transfer half of my games to it as the base drive was full. The transfer took 5-6 hours and this should be considered if you do the same.
