Seagate (STGD2000100) Game Drive for PS4 Systems 2TB External Hard Drive Portable HDD – USB 3.0, Officially Licensed Product

I’ve been using Seagate hard drives for years and I’m happy with the product I’ve received. Luckily for me, after reading the description of this product I figured it wasn’t designed for changing (I don’t know why it would be, this product is blatantly designed for heavy gaming in a designated location, not for mobility). It’s not impossible to transport but it is inconvenient. If you having a gaming laptop an external hard drive with this much space is ideal. Not having to worry about how many games you have downloaded is truthfully a satisfying feeling. There’s plenty of ports available on this device for all the peripherals (5 overall USB Ports and audio slots for your headphone/ mic).

We’ve had this drive for about a year and it no longer works. The drive is about 20% used to capacity so not even half filled and the PlayStation no longer can access the drive. It worked great until one day it didn’t. This item was too expensive for it to die in a year. I wish I could get my money back!!!! We lost everything that was on it!!!

Seit einiger Zeit nutze ich nun die Seagate FireCuda Gaming HDD am MacBook. Der Anschluss erfolgt per USB-C. Die Geschwindigkeit würde ich als ‚gut‘ klassifizieren, ohne jetzt einen dezidierten Speed-Test durchgeführt zu haben. Im Alltagsgebrauch fiel mir die Geschwindigkeit jedenfalls nicht negativ auf, die Platte verrichtet zuverlässig ihren Dienst.

Holds a great amount of space for your gaming needs. Its held up 10+ games and I still have plenty of room for more. Highly recommend!

It’s good for what it is. Internal upgrade would of been better. Specially if you got vr, gotta use all your plugs and then some.
