Now that I have extra storage all of my backup games downloaded fast.Plus it’s easy to install.

This is a nice external drive for storing whatever you need one and has tons of space. However, its listed as a gaming drive and its about the worst thing for gaming! I can barely run small games off it without it constantly lagging and freezing causing the game to not respond. I currently have about 5 small Renpy games on it taking up less than 5 GB of space and its already struggling to keep up because the transfer rate isnt great. I am partially to blame though as I know SSD is the way to go and SATA cant handle games any newer than like 2008 lol I would recommend as a good priced external for an 8 TB but defiantly not for gaming.

In 1994 (or maybe 95?) I was once told that no one would ever need more than 500 megs of storage. Even Bill Gates thought there was a point at which storage seemed superfluous and unnecessary. It’s kind of hilarious to think about now.

I correctly installed it and got it working for my PS4, then about 45 days later (after return policy) my PS4 got all these error notifications about not being able to install updates on the external hard drive. When I looked into it, my PS4 just could not even read the external hard drive. I tried every troubleshooting technique on the internet to no avail. Eventually when I tried to return it Amazon refused and it took about 8 calls to amazon to just get my money back. Save yourself the trouble and do not purchase this piece of crap.

When I first order this, my hard drive didnt work and it may had been a defect but I got a replacement and its working well now.

Very nice to have the extra space, easy to use!

PS4の増設用として購入。耐久性はまだ購入から間もないので割愛します。他の方のレビューにもありますがUSBの接続は甘いようです。実際に2回ほど読み込み不良起こしています。差し直すと読み込むのでケーブルに接触等しなければ使用には問題ないかとおもいます。

I bought this because I ran out of space on my 1TB PS4 and needed more storage. I got this 4TB HDD. The set up is super easy. Plug it in, go to settings - external storage - set up. Thats it!

This drive is great. Neat tidy, works very well and of course, looks super cool on my desk.
