I recurved it today, packaging was fine but it doesnt work. Ive contacted Seagate & Amazon but neither have replied. $200 down the drain.

Paying 200$ for 2 TB of storage is an absolute joke. These consoles are intentionally designed to have small hard rives so that they can sell you this garbage. If you buy this you are being ripped off. 2 TB of storage space is not worth 200$ anywhere else. The same product for playstation and other devices is generally 60-70$. This is a scam product made for ignorant people who dont know any better. There are much cheaper ways to extend your hard drive space than this corporate Microsoft sponsored garbage.

I honestly don’t understand why an SSD is almost the same price as an Xbox series S but Amazon has it $20 cheaper than anyone else so I got it here. It works, 1TB more than I had. Plugs in the back and works immediately. The only problem is when you try downloading games from mobile when you’re away from your Xbox, the SSD doesn’t show up so if you’re out of space on your console you can’t download games from mobile. Not too much of an issue but some people may find this a small hindrance.

I had an external HDD with some games in it , copied to this card and now the games load way faster besides everything loads faster in my series S comparing to my old Xbox S . Sure the storage space is not enough for today games but I only play a few . I keep my Xbox originals and 360 games in the internal drive and the big games in this little card. It is expensive but will do the job and save time.

Takes more time to open the box than to actually install it in the xbox. It simply inserts in the memory slot on the back of the xbox like a memory card back in the good old days. It was detected and installed right away by my Series X. Nothing negative to say!

it works great but the price is clear greed.

Stupid expensive due to no competition since its a proprietary xbox design. It works fine though. YOU CAN USE AN EXTERNAL HDD FOR OLDER GAMES. For the full power of the series S and X youre stuck with this. Hopefully, third party xbox SSDs will be avaliable at some point to ease the price a little. If youre able, Id wait for that. If not, youre stuck with this one or the 2 TB version for even more cash.
