Seagate Storage Expansion Card for Xbox Series X|S 1TB Solid State Drive - NVMe Expansion SSD (STJR1000400)

I was really wanting this from the time I bought my Xbox Series X and finally got it. 1 terabyte is just not enough storage, and frankly, this additional terabyte hardly slakes my thirst for more storage. Games are getting so big, now, I may still have to add USB storage.

Tons of extra space and it doesnt slow down your gaming

I have an Xbox and a ps4. The nice thing about the ps4 is a bought an external hard drive, 1tb, for $50 and you can play your games off of it. You can not do that with Xbox. You have to buy this extra internal storage which is 4x the price of an external storage.

I recurved it today, packaging was fine but it doesnt work. Ive contacted Seagate & Amazon but neither have replied. $200 down the drain.

This tiny lil feller works as advertised. Pretty much identical to the Series X internal drive in storage and speed. you can choose to install games/apps on the card or the drive and if your internal drive doesn’t have enough space for an install the OS will ask you automatically if you want to install on the card. Setting it up is a complicated process of plugging it into the slot on the back of the console and then that’s it. Everything happens automagically.

Its quite simple, really. Its a straightforward product that does what its advertised to do. You take it out of the box, plug it into the back of the system, make sure its recognized, and youre g2g.

Es impecable el desempeño de esta unidad funciona muy bien en SERIES S, su mayor problema es su precio.

Funciona muy bien que podamos incrementar nuestro espacio en nuestras xbox series S o series X y que mantengamos esa velocidad que necesitamos. El precio la verdad no es tan accesible comparado con los ssd de las computadoras de escritorio o laptops y además no son 1000 gb, son un poco menos que las que anuncian, ya que necesita espacio la memoria para instalarse en la consola.

This is very expensive for 930 usable gigs of SSD storage, but the speed of the card is the same speed as the Series X|S, and installation is literally just taking it out of the package and plugging it into the back of the console. I like everything about this card, except for the price.

I liked how small and portable it was, and had weight to it.
