I have a wired system around my house, but wanted something to use for constant monitoring of my property without having to go and look at the monitor constantly. This works pretty well for that if you keep the USB plugged in and constantly charging. I cannot tell you about the unit for just motion capture, but having this unit connected to a tablet that is portable is pretty nice.

I enjoy the product so far. Still learning my way around the product, but have no major issues. The product works as designed and after taking time to fiddle in the settings, Ive got it whittled down perfectly to suit my needs. Camera quality is good enough to identify the faces of people within their working range. The only thing getting a head scratch is charging so far. First camera I left charging for almost 5 hours on the suggested 5v=1A suggested charger with the included micro USB cable and the camera didnt get a full charge. Left the other one on a different charger of the same parameters and got an equal but not full charge in a 3 hour mark. Gonna fiddle around and see if I cant find a more efficient route.

We bought the cameras for the outside of our home. The image is great! The alarm and the lights are good features to have. Overall we are very happy.

Nice little camera. Comes with all you need to install, minus the SD card, which is fine as I prefer to buy that myself. I am pleased with this camera and look forward to getting more in the future.
