> 3 dayWork great. At first I installed 4x6 speakers without the pods, they sounded terrible. I added baffles to the 4x6 and the still sounded terrible. I broke down and replaced the 4x6 with 5.25 inch speakers in these pods - waaay better sound! Should have done this from the get-go. I also purchased the rear speaker pods from this brand and modified them to fit 6.5 inch components. Now I have the best sounding jeep you can get without a sub.

> 3 dayInstalled these to replace the adapter plates and foam baffles for my Polk DB521 speakers. Very noticable improvement in clarity and volume. Fit is perfect in my 2003 Wrangler.

> 3 dayThese project the sound so much better than just having the speakers in the open dash. I had adapter plates with 5.25 already, but when I put those speakers in these pods the speakers really came to life. These are a great upgrade.

> 3 dayI had the stereo playing during installation, and as I pressed the speakers fully into the enclosure (before screwing them in), there was a huge difference in bass response. So I know they do make a difference.

> 3 dayI would give it a 5 star but as soon as I took them out of the box the were clearly used and returned. Fits perfectly on my 06 Jeep Wrangler. Got some 5.25 speakers and worked great. Sounds good, But will see as soon as I add my amp.

> 3 dayMuch like every TJ owner out there, we battle with having decent sound with the top down. That said it is a Jeep , but you can still have the best of both worlds. I was concerned about the size of these enclosures and most front speakers us the entire volume of a door and the shear lack of volume would reduce the out put. I am running 5 1/4 Infinity Kappa components and while the out put is less, the mid bass response is significantly improved. I would recommend a strong front channel amp to power the speakers in the enclosures. and a good EQ would defiantly help such as a an EQS from Audio Control. My other concern is that they would be thin plastic, not thick enough to perform well. there are well constructed about 1/8 thick. you will have to make some minor modification to your jeep dash support depending on the speakers that you select. But all in all , i would recommend these.
