The other reviews are correct. This one fits snug and the L/R channels remain consistent. With my previous adapter I thought it might be the headphone cord or the extension cord, but, no, it was just a wobbly fit due to the poor make. This ones solid and worth the few extra dollars. Very pleased I didnt waste time with the slightly cheaper ones.

Nice and study, plating is perfect, nice knurling for grip, and a secure connection snap when plugging 3.5mm in it.

After a week of use had to start rotating it to maintain a proper connection. Ended up buying a cable with the proper size jack for my amp.

Excellent quality and well worth the few extra dollars over the el-cheapo no name adapters. Good fit, no static, sturdy build.

I wasted money on the Cable Matters 5-pack of gold adapters, only to have 1 that actually functioned as intended. I was so mad at the quality, I knew I had to spend a bit more to find something reliable and perfect. I bought 2 of these Sennheiser adapters and couldnt be more pleased! Absolutely perfect fit on both ends with no noise, no static, and if you wiggle and jiggle it around, it doesnt cause problems. Exactly what I needed to be able to cue on my headphones for DJing or adapt an aux cable to play someones song request if needed for events. Also a great adapter in my studio setup! Dont waste your time gambling with cheap quality adapters. Get these! Highly recommended!

I’ve gone through literally 10’s of 1/4 adapters in my studios. I use them for my interfaces my amps for recording and playback and all of them HAVE BROKE

I thought this was a screw on. It is not.

Avoid Cheap adapters and the headaches they can cause (static and popping). If you want high quality audio, you want this adapter...

what can i say, i plug it in and it just works. seems to make a solid connection.

It costs more than I think it should but it does a great job.
