Getting the Wii out of the living room and into the equipment closet required a lot more wire than came with the original unit. The only really annoying thing about this cable, other than the price, is that its not in-wall rated (its not designed to be pulled through walls). This made testing the work that much more important before cleaning up the mess I made out of the drywall before putting everything back together. It also made pulling the wire a delicate chore - completely unlike the speaker wire that ran through the same walls. Bottom line - the thing works, but Id give it 5 stars if it was in wall rated. Hard to believe ANYONE needs 50 ft of wire and says Thank God someone makes a 50 sensor bar extension for my 50 long room.

I bought this to connect my new wii U to overhead projector. The wire is very delicate but works as long as you are careful. If you are handy with electronics and wires, you might be able to slice your own extension with regular gauge wire. For those of you who dont want to mess around, this extension will do the job for you. Just be extra careful.

I wanted to show WII screen on wall opposite the projector and Wii unit, it was a pain in the neck to set up the games over my shoulder. Now I just point and click as it is intended

At 50ft, a lot can go wrong. As an installer of pro audio/video systems Ive seen so many hardware and cable types fail over the years that I really didnt have any reason to believe this Wii sensor bar extender was going to work at 50+ feet out. I purchased this cable for a customer whos equipment we were in the process of relocating to an equipment rack located roughly 40 ft from the display device. Prior to snaking and fishing the cable we connected it up to see rather this cable was going to work or not. As we fired up the system the room went silent as we anxiously awaited the results. A few short moments later - it worked! We had one of our techs play with the Wii for 30 minutes to ensure it would remain consistently reliable and it absolutely did. It worked just as it did before without the extension. We didnt notice any response lag or the like. This Wii extender cable is perfect for anyone who needs a reliable sensor bar extension up to 50ft away (plus the length of the stock cable length). Excellent problem solver!

I ran this into the attic and down, and tied the cord carefully into the bar that holds up our projector screen. Much better than the wireless bar, which runs through batteries.

I am so glad I was able to get this cable. I needed to hook my Wii U up to the DLP projector that I got. Unfortunately, its hard to play any motion sensor games without running your sensor bar all the way to the top of the screen. Without this I was forced to use a long HDMI cable and have my Wii U sitting in front by the screen. Now the Wii U can be back by the projector and the sensor bar can be set all the way at the top of the screen. I noticed that the cursor on screen does flicker some times when navigating the main menu but I have yet to experience an issue in a game itself. Currently going through Mario Galaxy on big screen in 2D to 3D conversion. You should get this!!!
