> 3 dayBeen a fan of seventh generation since 2006. My DS1 never used a training pants so this is the first time i tried it with my DS2 (2yo) who is so squirmy when its diaper change time. So i thought of trying these easy slip-ons, training diapers. here are my not so nice comments: - not as absorbent as their baby diapers. I dont understand why seventh gen has compromised its absorbency on this type of training diapers, and yet more expensive than regular ones. - i have to change more often compared to their regular diapers - the garter(waist) doesnt hold much. The diaper gets wet, DS2 gets irritated coz it falls off. Then i change again. For those who want to try this first, I suggest you buy it from a retail store before buying bulk here in amazon.

> 3 dayWork great as training pants. If your little one is still wetting heavily expect some leaks. The leg openings may be kind of large for skinnier kids. We once had a leak where my son soaked his pants, shoes and socks and the training pant was completely dry. Hes super skinny and was sitting, I guess the leg opening was just so that the stream went straight out.

> 3 dayYep, we love seventh generation. These diapers are very efficient. I love that they dont have commercial branding all over them! They are a pretty natural color with no bleaches and other nasty stuff. The sides are not a loose velcro, they are a more secure side than some of the other commercial brands available. This might be a good thing or a bad thing, depends on your needs. I have found that the loose velcro can separate easily and become a hassle, however easier to use as a traditional diaper and a pull up. The seventh generation ones are a secure side and need to be torn to separate. This can be a hassle to get a diaper on a child that already is dressed with shoes on.

> 3 dayThese are good for potty training but not to leave on for night time. They do not fit tightly enough for night time/bedtime. My grandbaby woke up with his clothes and blankets wet. I bought these to use instead of diapers because he is potty trained and does well during the day. I bought these so he could go to the potty at night like a big boy and have protection, in case he did not wake up or didnt quite make it. So, for now, we use the seventh generation diapers, which work great!

Greater than one weekI was having issues with my son getting a rash on his bum while using the Huggies and Pampers pullups but it cleared up when we switched to these. They have good absorbency, are easy to get on and off (the tear away sides are great) and the minimalist design means I can get them on my son faster (no complaining that a he wanted a different one because of the characters on it). My only complaint is that my son is small for his size (24 lbs) and has chicken legs so they tend to leak if I let him sleep or nap in them. I wish they came in a smaller size.

Greater than one weekThey only buy green or 7th generation, or certain liberal brands. The 7th generation and green advertising gimmicks are not my thing, but these did what they were supposed to.

> 3 dayGood training diapers but not good for overnight use. Would get overwhelmed and she would wet the bed. Other than that did what it was supposed to but just don’t recommend for long term use as diapers gets over saturated easily

> 3 dayin fairness, this is a training pant (see kid on toilet in picture) so it is not intended to be used as a super-soaker overnight pull-on style diaper. however, i think that is what a lot of parents are using this for, especially for 3-4 year olds. with that in mind, i want to let parents know that this may not work for them if that is what they want. they are more absorbent that i thought they would be, minus those super absorbent polymers used in the conventional, chemical laden brands. if your child was an average or light wetter overnight these would likely work out just fine. for the afternoon naps or extended car rides, again, they would probably work. but if your child is a heavy wetter, you will probably be doing more laundry than you like and your child may be waking you up, upset, in the middle of the night because they are wet because this leaked. i found that on my son, who seems to be a heavy wetting 3 year old, these would leak less than half the time but still more than once a week. my daughter, wore these just fine as a 2 year old overnight, but she was a very light wetter at night and stopped wetting at night altogether months before she turned 3. just shows how each kid can be so different. we put two towels underneath him and since he actually refuses to wear pajamas, it worked out ok that the towels covered the leakage and he didnt seem to be wet himself, as if the last accident that went overboard so to speak was maybe right before he woke up anyway. we do make sure he goes potty and try to curtail his drinks up to bed time to minimize wetting- so it isnt like he goes to bed with a full bladder and these cant contain it. what i am getting at is that these are not terrible as far as absorbency goes, but they are not extra or ultra absorbent by any means. we tried regular (day time) pull ups which seemed to be slightly better, some leaks, and the night-time pull-ups have not leaked at all. so that might give you an idea. if you tried to regular pull-ups overnight and those worked just fine for you, these might work overnight. i like the plain style with the 1 2 (Tree picture) and that they are dyed tan, for whatever that is worth which admittedly isnt much. they dont stink like baby powder perfume like some brands, which i hate. and they are more natural, yay! still go in a landfill though and arent totally biodegradable but at least they are off gassing God-knows-what to my dear childs bum.... i am knocking off a star because they do run small as ALL 7th gen products do and the price is too high in my opinion, and i guess a star for absorbency even though for their intended purpose as training pants i guess they are suitable. but it is my prerogative that the natural diaper companies should make Overnight training pants (pull on style) with increased absorbency so thats my two cents.

Greater than one weekBasically Weve been happy with these. Understandably some kids want fun pictures of characters they come across, or just like, and these dont have those. Its ok - they work! Utility and comfort are combined and are more ecological than other diaper choices. Pros: Fit well Absorb well (we have had a few leaks on long car rides and overnight, but less than other brands we tried) Our child can pull them on and off easily Easy to tear the sides to remove if theres a mess involved Cons: If you tear the sides, theres no re-attaching them (this is a very occasional problem) Weve had a few packages with training pants that were a bit stiff and not so soft.
