I initially bought this to store a shaving puck in and lather in the same bowl. Unfortunately, its a bit high-walled for a standard sized puck to fit in (Photo 1), but I can see smaller pucks fitting in this, or it could make a good bowl for purely lathering shaving cream in without storing a full puck. Its polished marble with no grooves so it might be a little too slippery for many shavers. Photo 3 compares this to another specialized honed marble shaving soap bowl that I have from another company - its wider and shallower than this one, which lends itself better for shaving. Its a very pretty bowl though, so I might just use it mainly for ornamental purposes rather than in the bathroom (see Photo 2).

The quality is perfect and really strong

The quality is excellent. Green calcite is a beautiful material. Its a small, simple item that should make the daily shaving routine a little more enjoyable.

The bowl feels nice in the hand, and its large enough to fit a mashed up Arlo stick with ease. The bottom has a cheap little foam pad which prevents it from slipping. It hasnt fallen off even around water which is a good sign. It looks great paired with my brush and shaver, and its dirt cheap at $10!

Its a nice little bowl made of green onyx. I have no idea what Ill do with it, but it can sit around looking pretty until then. It arrived well protected, encased in Styrofoam. The box it came in was not the nicest looking thing and had a lot of tape all over. I dont know if it was a return or if the company is just obsessive over protection. It didnt matter to me, but if youre looking for a nice gift presentation take that into account. The price of $9.99 seems reasonable.

This is simply a fantastic and beautiful bowl. I ordered the Green Onyx which is stunning in quality and craftsmanship. My wife, after seeing it, suggested we use it as decorative peice in our living room! Great value for the money!

Loved this was definitely worth it

Dont be fooled by the product description being for shaving. This bowl is the perfect catch-all for things like keys, change, etc. Its just the right size not to take up a lot space. This is a high quality solid marble bowl with a very nice padding underneath. It is very stable, attractive and useful for so many things. The packaging is excellent. Besides a very high quality, solid marble bowl, the designers added very nice padding on the bottom to make sure the bowl is stable and wont scratch anything its sitting on.

Very pretty onyx bowl, well crafted and lovely. My husband is using it as a shaving bowl with a bristle brush and it looks beautiful on the bathroom countertop. Highly recommend.

The bowl has a nice weight to it, stays in the hand thanks to the bottom peice. And the smooth marble makes it easier to make a lather. And with the weight it doesnt go flying out of your hand when making the lather. Plus it looks amazing. At 10 dollars I am very surprised.
