Shimano Ultegra R8000 Cassette

I needed an 11 25t cassette with a 16 tooth cog to accommodate my riding style to replace my105 11 28t. Very nice fit and finish with smooth shifting. Cant beat Shimano engineering and quality.

Works like a charm

Is excellent for long days riding at a high and comfortable cadence. I installed it on a Scott Addict Team Issue which came with a 11-25 cassette combined with a 54/36 at tbe front. With this cassette, the Addict feels like my Cervelo Caledonia, confortable and easier on my 57 years old knees. Just had to replace the rear derailleur for a medium size, the original small one shifts no problems BUT, the mechanical ratio or diameter doesnt change. Therefore, I couldnt feel any change through the different cogs. Until I replaced the derailleur as well.

Bought this last year for my Ceepo Viper and Di2 Shimano shifting. Used the new Ultegra Chain and so far this thing is still going strong. Have a LOT of miles on it and it usually sees the road everyday for 20-50 miles. Just keep it clean and wipe down to keep it running smooth.

Shimano always makes a good product

The Ultegra technology is second to none! I changed out my Shimano 105 cassette and replaced it with the Ultegra 8000. On the first ride I picked up an average of 4 miles quicker speed. Cut 10 minutes of my standard 35 mile loop! Very Impressed! Buy it! You won’t be sorry!
