The screw locking mechanism works fine and opens wide enough to accommodate most hooking needs for a carabiner of this size. Easy to lock and open. They came in a nice plastic hinged box as an extra bonus. Quality carabiner for the price. Appear to be capable of their rated 880 lbs rating.

Easy to use and quality product.

These carabiners were perfect to connect my garage door springs to the fixed mounts. The locking feature ensures that the connection is solid. The fact that they are also stainless steel is a plus. A good value for the money and easy as anything to use.

Worked well for my project. No issues.

I needed some closeable links to customize some of my dive gear (like my dSMB - I wanted something to hold onto while Im deploying it). They are super easy to open and slide where you need them. They came exactly as advertised.

I was unable to pass the link through the chain due to the large bump next to the threads which is not as pictured in the listing.

Sturdy.

One link locked up after unscrewing it all the way. Two other links locked up after screwing them shut all the way. A wrench wouldnt work. Tried WD-40 on them, but that didnt work. Had to use a bolt cutter on the two that locked while screwed shut. If we hadnt had a bolt cutter, it wouldve meant our pet being stuck in a cage, because we wanted to use the links as extra security while we were out of the house.

These are great stainless carabiners. Using them with chains and come-a-long to pull jet ski onto dolly.

Would have given a 5 but some of the quick links threads were rough and closing the link was not quick.
