These have held up well to the outside elements. I have not had a gate spring break or deformation of the carabiner from the loads I am putting them under. I use this to tie down light aircraft in high wind conditions.

I use these to attach the safety chains from a boat trailer to the factory class 5 hitch on my 2018 Chevy 2500. They are easy to attach, I assume they are as strong as the safety chain.

This clips are thick heavy duty easy to uae and larger than average clips that you can use at any gym. You instantly feel the great quality. I can trust that these clips will not bend or break if i lift heavy.

I am a short person. After adjusting my car’s seat forward I find the seat belt is way behind me. I used the carabiner clip on the head rest post and pulled the seat belt through the carabiner. This way the seat belt is always just above my left shoulder. It works for me and I’m happy to have found just the right size at 4 inches. The 3 inch too small, the 5 inch too large.
