The thickness is spot on. The actual dimensions are a 16th shy, which is the only reason I knocked a star off. Thats probably the industry standard but Id prefer not to have to buy an oversized piece and cut it down to get exactly 24x12. Ill just scale my project sightly.

Product shipped quickly, packaging was secure, it arrived undamaged (!!). The thickness was just what we needed for a house project.

This item is exactly what I was looking for to protect my painted cabinet from the stove. I got a special drill bit to make the holes to screw it to the wall - normal bits will probably crack the panel. This took me under 10 minutes to install.

We needed plexiglass to make an antique boat windshield. Bought 3/8 first; nice material but too thick for this use, so returned it (very easy with Amazon) and bought the 1/4, which was perfect for this project. This material was easy to cut (keep the paper on), edge sand, and trim fit to the contour of the boat after using cardboard templates we made for the initial fit and cuts. We learned we should keep the paper on the acrylic until all fit trimming was complete, to protect the acrylic from scratches and handling before installing/completing the project.

Plexiglass worked well

We joined two 4x4 by 12 foot posts lengthwise using these plates, with hefty bolts and screws. Very pleased with the result.

Exactly what I wanted!

This is an excellent product for providing support to a structure on top of a post. Due to the length of the horizontal member you can join two separate beams and it is made of thick enough metal that it is very durable.

Wish the corners were rounded
