… then buy this! A nice sized mat that doesn’t slide around the table. It offers protection from the scuffs that come from having young eaters at the table! Simple and clean. Wish I’d bought it before my table got so dinged!

Nice quality and nice price. SlIghtly undersized from what seller stated, in case youre buying this to fit into tight space. The underside is smooth, shiny, and flat. Adheres well to smooth surfaces. The top has a smooth mat finish. The tie strap is made of the same silicone as the placemat. Its about .125 thick at the rim, and about .0625 everywhere else.

Easy to roll up and throw in the diaper bag. We take it along to restaurants or keep it at home for crafts.

My kids are old enough to not need these mats, though I see where they would work great with babies or toddlers. They are smaller than a normal placemat, and super easy to clean. They dont slide on the surfaces that I have tested them on (wooden table, Formica countertop). They also dont slide on the vinyl floor! We got two of them for keeping our stainless-steel dog food and water bowls around on the floor. They also keep any spillover contained. The lip is short, maybe 1/8, but the dogs dont splash very much.

I got this mat to take to restaurants for my kids. It is a little narrow but longer than regular placemats. It has a nice little tie to keep it secure in the diaper bag. I’m not sure what the ring in the mat is for, possibly drying? But it doesn’t take away for the functionality of the mat.

This is so simple to use for babies or toddlers! It’s perfect for snacking or meal time. It’s easy to clean. The best part is my 11 month old doesn’t try to rip it up and throw it like other suction plates.

FINALLY, a placemat which keeps my kids plates and cups from sliding around! This mat not only is dishwasher safe, but it has a small lip on the edges that helps it retain liquids. HIGHLY recommend for kids! The ability to roll it up for travel is a nice plus.
