Really like this skin, its silicon rubber, its 2mm thick, and fits nice on the 1000 style the thick boy....

Two stars because it does one thing well, and because of the price. First the good things about it: 1. It makes the Vita less slippery. This is good if your kids or a clumsy friend is playing with these older systems and you are afraid of them dropping it. 2. It is cheap. Now for the problems: 1. It took three weeks to arrive (Ordered May 1st, arrived May 21st) since it came from China. I wish Amazon would place a clear warning on items coming from China, so the customers would know they will be looking at a significant wait. Drop ship entrepreneurs trying to make their side hustle fortune by taking advantage of buyers like me, who would have gone with something else, had I known about the wait. Since Amazon takes their cut, I doubt they will do anything about it, but a noticeable warning on the page would be nice. 2. Poor quality and fit. I was not expecting top-tier for the $4.58 I paid, but the skin is flimsy and does not fit the Vita tight enough (see photo). When I bought silicone covers for other products, I had to struggle to get them on since they fit so perfectly. This one was easy on, since it was too large by a millimeter or two. Do not expect it to offer any protection if your Vita is dropped. Suggestion: Go with something else. Get one of the metal or metal-on-plastic ones, or get one of the cases that have the hand grips. Those would offer significantly more overall protection.
