Love these shorts for my son. I did go up a size but thats because I wanted them to last for a bit. The draw string makes it great because even though they are a bit oversized you can tie them.

Our son is potty training and his teacher said he needed the next size up. These are great to send to daycare. They are easy to pull up and wash/dry easily.

The shorts were way to thick and hot and they shrank up a lot on the first wash. I dont recommend them for summer.
