> 3 dayBeen buying this product for our simply human trash can for at least 3 years. The product is great. The price, however, has more than doubled…. From approximately 25.00 to 66.00. Again, the bags are very sturdy. But ridiculously expensive.

> 3 dayI have never been enthusiastic about trash bags. For several years I refrained from purchasing a simplehuman trash can because I didn’t want to be forced to purchase these “special” bags, A couple of months ago I purchased a simplehuman J sized can at the HD but purchased glad bags to use. The can is the best! The glad bags didn’t hold up. I won’t make that mistake again, I tried the sample J sized bags that came with the can. They are outstanding! Very strong!!!! Excellent drawstring. I purchased more on Amazon. Buy with confidence!

> 3 dayThese bags are not messing around! Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2017 Size: 100 Liners Easy-Open PackagingStyle: Trash Bags Look, there is nothing glamorous about a garbage bag, and since it is simply a vessel we use to cater our discarded trash to the refuse bin on the curb it can be easy to view money spent on garbage bags as money literally being thrown in the trash. Looking through those lenses it is easy to default into penny pincher mode and actively seek out the cheapest priced bags however the first rip or tear you get will instantly remind you how poor an idea that was! I have been a long-time user of the force flex type bags and what I love about them is that you can seemingly add and endless quantity of items into the bag and it just stretches and stretches. The problem I have with them is that as they stretch they get thinner and it seems that every time, without fail, as I pull them out of the kitchen trash can they rip. This wouldnt be a huge issue if it werent for the fact that the kitchen garbage can often collects that wonderful runny, liquid based, trash from our cooking processes. Even a small tear results in a wonderful trail of fermented trash juice, stretching from the kitchen trash can all the way to the curbside trash cans! These simple human bags are considerably more expensive than many bags I have used in the past. Depending on the quantity you purchase and current pricing, they can come out to $0.25 or more per bag. Considering many bags can be found for less than $0.10/bag that seems rather pricey. What you get for that increased price is considerable quality and heft... sorry Hefty... These bags are right up there with contractor grade bags you would find at your local hardware store. The plastic is noticeably thicker and the double seams ensure that tears at the seams are less likely. I can be completely confident that these bags will not tear during the completion of my regular honey do list. Realistically, the only downside I notice to these bags are the plastic is so stiff that there is zero flex in them, which is both good and bad. Good in the sense that they are durable and will not stretch out but bad in the sense that if you over fill them, they will not stretch enough to close them completely. We just change out these bags a smidgen more to be able to close them properly. All in all this is a quality product. You find yourself spending a bit more for that quality however if it saves you from cleaning up just one liquid garbage leak then I believe it is worth it in the end.

> 3 dayWe have had our Simplehuman trash can for quite a few years now and its still like new. The trash bags are a heavier quality plastic that fit perfectly snug on the top of the liner and when full you just pull it out and the pull the bands shut, tie and throw away. They are a bit more than the cheaper bags but we have not had a bag break as of yet and we put quite a bit in them. I have come to depend on this brand so much that Im willing to drive to Bed Bath and Beyond which is one hour south of me to get them. Mostly though I will order off Amazon since they are only a few cents more and I have Prime for shipping. These are one of the best investments we have made in our 18 years together.

> 3 dayWhen we bought the Simple Human kitchen garbage can I couldnt believe we were spending over $100 on a trash can. I immediately thought, What a scam! They sell their own garbage bags too!? Theres no way were buying the Simple Human bags! Well after comparing prices I quickly found out they are very close in price to other brands when you break it down to a per bag cost. And then I justified the slightly higher cost by how few we actually use (roughly one bag per week, never more than two). So Im looking at spending maybe $8 more per year (comparing to other leading brands offering quality bags). Well after we use the first bag it all made sense to me. The bag is shaped to fit the can. This not only means that it fits on in a very clean way with no excess at the brim, but also the trash itself forms nicely to the size/shape of the can. Upon pulling the bag out, after full, the trash stays in that shape making it easy to carry out and fits in your garbage can nicely. The handles that cinch the top are strong and after using these bags for over a year now Ive yet to have one tear. These are things I havent experienced with other bags. Im a fan.

> 3 dayThese bags are a perfect fit for our Simple Human kitchen trash cans. We use one for recyclables and the other for regular garbage. The bags are durable, easy to use, easily roll out of the box with a snug pull, and provide a nice fit around the top of our cans. We are able to use the recycle can bag several times before replacing it with a new one. Love these bags! We purchase them online here with Amazon Prime and they are at our door within a day or two.

> 3 dayThese bags are mostly great. Ive never gotten a hole in the actual bag to have to deal with drips, however they can rip at the top where the drawstring is stitched into the bag itself....mostly when garbage is stuffed into the can and it takes some shimmying to get out, but who doesnt do that?! I did discover they are about half the cost if you buy direct from the site though.

> 3 dayWhen I first got my Simple Human trash can, I used the sample of these bags that came with it but said I wasn’t spending that kind of money to buy more. Then I went back to my old bags and quickly ordered a box of these. I have 3 kids and a husband who are rough on trash bags and I constantly have to clean up after someone takes the trash out. Not with these bags! They stay in the can perfectly, they slide out easily every single time, and I’ve never had a rip. The inside of my trash can is still clean a month later and that’s seriously a record. They also don’t have a scent, which is so hard to find. But your trash can won’t smell either, even without the sickening fragrance some brands try to use to cover it up. If you’re looking at these bags and wondering if they’re really worth extra, I’m here to tell you they are. Just buy them, and I also suggest putting them on subscribe and save to save on the cost!
