SINGER 2131E All Purpose Machine Oil, 4-Fluid Ounces

I used it to revive a 1909 Singer treadle machine.

This little bottle has been great for oiling old fans. Ive used a little bit on 2 ceiling fans to help reduce some squeaks. We have a bedside fan that started squeaking. It was a little harder to oil, but with a straw that had both ends cut at an angle I was able to put a few drops on the fan motor and reduce the noise. While I had a game console disassembled recently I put 2 drops in the CPU fan since I was already performing maintenance. Im not sure how it will hold up over the long term, but it has been a few months with the ceiling fans running 24/7 and they are still squeak-free.

The oil is good, especially for the price. However, the container is terrible. It need a applicator straw of some kind to dispense oil in small holes. Also, the cap is not removable(can do with force and breaking it) allowing you to put a cap with a straw. What good is the oil if it cant be applied properly. Every other competitor has some kind of applicator unless its a giant refill bottle. Hence the rating.

I always heard that sewing machine oil was good for roller skate bearings and I finally tried it. Yes, its very good. Light oil makes the bearing spin fast. Bottle and flip out dispenser is very nice.

Perfect for gear box of spinning reels.

I had been looking for a singer oil for long time. I am so glad I found it at Amazon.com. The price is just right , my machine sounded good after I put few drops of the singer oil I ordered from amazon. Thank you

This oil is exactly what we needed to restore a 1911 singer cobblers machine that was gunked up after 30 years sitting in a shop. We carefully cleaned all the mechanisms with wd-40, wiped it all off, and oiled with this. The machine works as well as high end leather sewing machines sold today.

I was a little nervous to dismantle my sewing machine for needed maintenance. I ordered this Singer machine oil and dove in. Just like the instructions state, one drop is all you need. The annoying rattle in my machine is gone and it actually sounds like it did years ago! Running perfectly and smoothly. Genuine product - and it works!

As always, Singer makes an oil that seems to work well and does the job. I have no idea if there is some other high-grade super sewing machine oil made by someone else but, Ive used singer oil on my machines for the last 58 years and it has always worked well.

My 3D printer started acting up, prints were crashing even though nothing happened. This was because the stepper motors were struggling to move dry dusty rails. Cleaned the rails, add a little of this oil, and everything is as good as new. 3D printer is functioning like it is brand new again. This oil will probably last me a long time as I only need a few drops on each rail.
