> 24 hourA bit more expensive than dram-less drives but worth the slight speed bump? Depends on you needs. I use this as my main boot drive replacing a Samsung 860 EVO and the difference was noticeable. Maybe 2-3 sec decrease in boot time so significantly faster than an already fast drive.

> 24 hourI used a samsung 970 evo inside a macbook air with a Sintech adapter. Problem was that it got really hot and the battery drained quickly. So I replaced it with this P31. It ran faster, with very fast writes, and ran cooler as well. Whats not to like? Very happy with this choice. Highly recommended. Also, the one I got already had the latest firmware.

I dont really have figures for how long the battery lasts after replacing it on my laptop but I can certainly say that the battery life did not get worse. This was for my daughters laptop so I have no idea if the performance is any good. It sure as heck seems fast but most NVMe SSDs will be that way for normal use.
