I really like this changing pad and it seems like a great size. Unfortunately, the toy bar wont fold down for me. I have tried pushing it in either direction but it just wiggles a tiny bit and wont go any farther. I feels like Im going to break it if I push any harder. I also wish the mirror on the cloud faced down toward to baby versus being on one side of the cloud- Im not sure how well baby will be able to see the mirror where it is.

Finally a changing pad you can actually wipe off! After years of using the quilted pads that you have to toss every few months because inevitably urine or feces gets into the stitching here is something you can just wipe off!

Ive used this changing pad for about 2 months with my newborn and am very happy with it so far. Its really easy to clean, which I truly appreciate when our little guy pees mid-diaper change - we can wipe it clean instead of needing to put in a load of laundry. No stains or discolored areas so far, and theres lots of room to grow. The little sun and cloud mobile is very cute, but we also like that its removable - in the early days, we didnt have to work around the mobile during late-night or early-morning changes, and our baby likely wasnt able to see or discern the mobile anyways. We do sometimes cover this with a swaddle or small blanket so its a little less chilly, especially after baths or if were doing a wardrobe change on the changing table.

I have a baby boy that pees VERY OFTEN during diaper changes so I wanted to be able to easily clean it. I will say it’s not very soft put I have a small swaddle folded at the top to cushion his head some. I definitely recommend this type of changing table. We did end up taking off the mobile because it was just in the way.

For the most part I like this changing pad because it is so easy to clean and doesn’t need a fabric cover, so it cuts down on laundry. My baby loves the toy bar and starts laughing every time he sees it. The cons- baby did not like this changing pad when he was a newborn, probably because it is cold and kind of hard. But once he was a month or two old he didn’t mind it. Also we’ve been using for 8 months now and like other reviewers have said, an orange stain has appeared where his bum rests. I immediately wipe down the pad after every diaper change, but it has stained anyway.

I came back to review this because I agonized over this purchase. It is way more expensive than a traditional changing pad and it is completely WORTH it. Our daughter sometimes pees or poops during a diaper change and it is an enormous mess. We just lift her up and wipe everything to one end with a paper towel, then sanitize it with an antibacterial wipe- good as new. No laundry. We’ve had it for 2 months and it’s still in perfect shape, no sign of wear and no stains. Additionally, it is nice and heavy and never slides on the dresser top. These are the only things I’d change: 1. I wish it was slanted a little more towards the feet so that urine ran down there on its own. You have to be pretty quick at lifting the baby’s head up to keep it clean. 2. The packaging is open on the front, Presumably so people can feel the material in the store, but the pad was dirty when it arrived because the box is effectively open. I was able to clean it with general purpose cleaning spray, but it was slightly off putting.

I ordered one of the open box versions to knock a bit off the price, but now that weve put it to the test I would 100% be willing to pay full price if I ever found myself in need of another one! Although, it seems durable enough I doubt well need to purchase again short of it getting lost in a move, or my dog terrorizing it, etc. Its super easy to wipe down, and the lip so far has kept all pee and runny poo from escaping. Even the unfortunate diarrhea that antibiotics Im taking has caused in my poor little babe have stayed contained and easy to clean up. After having this, I cant believe I even dare considered one if the foam changing pads. I havent had any of the discoloration issues mentioned in other reviews, and believe me, weve gotten plenty of body products on it. Spit up, pee, meconium, normal breast fed baby poo, diarrhea, diaper cream and I even dripped breast milk onto it during a hasty mid feed diaper change.

All over very satisfied with the purchase

My baby was born in breach position via c section, thus his legs were union the air for weeks after bringing him home. I could not use this very well because he would role to the side so easily. I put this on a desk in my bedroom to convert to a changing table, and quickly realized that the baby strap is 100% needed because he could easily fall off as a newborn that doesn’t move. It’s so much easier to just change him on the floor or bed than use this. He hates the strap, and now it just sits there unused.
