These headphones exceeded my expectations. They are a heavier than expected, but it’s worth it for the sound quality and comfort. Nice ear cushions and the sound quality is great for the price. Active noise cancellation also works well (nothing outstanding, but is still good). Overall great headphones and definitely recommend them for a good price.

Hi! My name is Matt and I have an audio technology problem. Im perpetually looking for the best earbuds and headphones. I took a flyer on these because Vine. Ive had plenty of Skullcandy phones in the past, both over the ears and earbud type headphones or headsets. Ive always found them to be an above-average brand. Usually good for the price point, but never outstanding. They usually look good on paper with reasonable reviews but usually end up disappointing. These are no exception. Someone said these were as good as their Bose headphones in their review. Thats crazy, their Bose must be broken or their hearing is impaired, or more likely theyve never owned a pair of Bose. If Bose is the Standard (QC 35II) and they are a 10 on a 10 scale, these would barely score a 5. The other pair often compared ar the Sony WHCH700Ns. Those compared to the Bose are close, but closer to an 8 than a 9. But price perspective is important. These are $129, Sonys are $200, Bose close to $300. So keeping that in perspective... They still only get 3 Stars out of 5. The sound just isnt great. With ANC on, the sound is muted, like its coming through a pillow or just simply capped. With ANC off, just louder and mushy. Sound quality with the other two isnt impacted as terribly with ANC. The Mic? Terrible, I couldnt use these on a video call or zoom when paired with my Mac. I didnt bother testing with my phone. You can do much better at this price point. Grab the Sonys on sale, or pay up for a pair of Bose on-sale.

Honestly I got the most bang for my buck one this one. The noise cancelling audio is amazing!!! The bass and treble are very nice and the sound overall is very good.It is very comfortable and battery life last be a while.

I need these for work more than anything else since I need to concentrate on work and not be distracted. They fold up nicely and are easy to setup, connect and use right away. The verbal cues are on power on/off are a little loud for me but there isnt any question on when they turn on an off. The noise cancellation is a little low but acceptable. It doesnt cut out enough noise.

Skullcandy headphones tend to have poor audio at the price range. In this case. I think these headphones actually have decent audio and are extremely durable. The default audio quality is good but not audiophile outstanding. It is better than headphones that I only recommend for audiobooks, but the equalizer is a bit quiet and the balance is too heavily weighted toward mids where both bass and trebles sound flattened. The ANC is a bit overpowering and it definitely drops the audio quality a bit though it does cancel well. The reason why I considered this a good product is that while there are other headphones that I can compare this to (AKG in particular) they are at least a third more expensive than this pair. You are not going to get better at this price point and the quality is quite good The one downside is the microphone picks up quite a bit of background from using this with my phone in outside a conference room. The headphones are rather durable and travels well. I would recommend this pair for transit or travel. I would not recommend this for audiophile or home stereo replacement. I think the best use-case is audio under noise cancelling at a value price point. I think that if you are going to routinely use this as a phone headset in heavy noise, there are other options, but it will work for quiet environments.

Love these! I dont have any buzzing when noise canceling is on, like the prior reviewers have said. The noise canceling is fabulous and the sound is not so loud that youre going to go deaf but with the noise canceling you can hear it perfectly! Sound quality great! Fabulous headphones for the money!

I own two really expensive noise cancelling headphones/earphones so there is a huge difference in sound quality, noise cancellation, and build quality. Before I start, my step kid love this headphone. For someone that has never experienced higher-end noise cancellation, this still does the trick. She loves everything about it. To me, it feels a little cheap which is okay for its price. The noise cancellation isn’t all that great if you have tried other products. The battery on it is great. I probably only see her charge it once a day and she is always wearing it. Although, I have good things to say about this product, I don’t know if I could recommend anyone buying this.
