Skylanders Trap Team: Torch Character Pack

Paid retail price, and the kids met the UPS guy at the door doing circle spins. Came shipped in a box, the quality was no different than what youd expect from a store. Awesome!

The characters look fine, but there is a packaging issue. The cardboard background is separate from the clear plastic bit containing the characters. The Nightmare Express really looks a fright. If it were for my son, I wouldnt care. Unfortunately, we bought the Express as a present for a birthday party. My husband managed to make it look alright to bring over. Still, I paid for a new item and feel like a got a return that wasnt re-packaged properly. It looked so bad, that emailed the birthday boys mom to let her know beforehand. In addition to the weird packaging issue, there was no receipt (gift or otherwise) in the box so the family will just have to take my word that we bought it new. I would be wary about buying this as a gift again.

Mirror of Mystery Adventure Pack is great! Its pretty challenging, but not overwhelming, and Deja Vu is a GREAT figure/character to have in your collection. She is a little tricky to use at first, but once you learn her mechanics, she is a force to be reckoned with. The Rocket Ram item is very good; it does high damage to the enemies, although it selects its own targets. (Pretty much like other attack items throughout the Skylanders games.) The Tiky Speaky item is rather strange. I saw it float above an enemy and seemingly hold it in place while I defeated it. Im not sure what its function really is.

My 7 year old granddaughter loves it so much she has it sitting on her bedside table rather than playing the game with it.
