Sleeping Queens 10th Anniversary Tin Card Game

MF from Albany
26-04-2025Played for first time last night with 8, 12, 15, 16 and 69 year olds. Expected to play only 1-2 games but ended up playing 8. The kids kept begging for one more. Took a little time to get all the rules down but once they were squared away the games went fast and there were lots of laughs. 5 stars are based on first time play. Time will tell if this is one of the games that everyone wants to play over and over or is a one hit wonder.

Greater than one weekMy 6-year-old grandson always wants to play with the grown-ups so I looked for a game that we could all enjoy. His mother and I played this with him and we all enjoyed it. My daughter was surprised to find she really did like the game. We played it three or four times and my grandson was catching onto the rules quickly. I played alone with him the next day and I was surprised that he had learned and remembered the rules. It sounds a little confusing when you first read the rules, but it all quickly makes sense.

> 3 dayGreat game. Dragon wood is also a new family favorite, like Pixar meant for the kids but everyone in the family will enjoy it.

> 3 dayGreat game for all ages. Easy to learn from three and up. My family enjoys the different rules and way you can play the game. We have started to add the numbers and it is a good learning game for my son.

> 3 dayMy 4 year old loves playing this game! She picked up on the rules pretty fast, though we adjusted the game to her age level by removing the jester cards and by saying the first person to get 5 queens wins instead of counting up points. However, whenever we steal queens or put them back to sleep, we discuss which are the best options based on the queens point values so that we can build toward playing with points one day.

> 3 daySuch a great game. My daughter first received this when she was 6 and could easily catch on to the rules and game play. Now that she is 7, this is a common gift that she will give at classmates birthday parties. It is fun and unique!
