Greater than one weekI was pretty surprised at how simple this sliding door lock was. Its just a spring loaded wedge that you stick directly onto the stationary door. I didnt think that it was slim enough for the sliding door to pass by, but it worked out just fine. I have it adhered to a glass door and the 3M tape seems to be holding fine. I wonder if time/heat will cause any issues. I know that its strong enough to handle toddler strength, but I feel I need to be extra careful because repeated forceful attempts at opening the door could cause the lock to come off. Luckily this is a 5 pack, so if any of those issues come up later on down the road I have it covered. It is pretty simple, but works out great and doesnt require any real installation.

> 3 dayWe absolutely love these, so much we bought more! Adhesive works perfect and easy to use. We use it for our glass door and windows for the safety of our children as the little one has learned how to open the sliding back door and loves to run out when he can (our little escape artist). We dont have to worry about this now.

Greater than one weekI like the simple setup, operation and appearance but it did not stop the door from opening completely. If you gently slide for partial opening to let the pets out, then it barely stopped. If you push door with more force, the door contact will slip pass.

> 3 dayThis is a set of four door stops. you could use this to keep a door completely closed, or to allow it to only stay open a few inches for safety. You could even attach one at different levels of open for different uses. If you are using it to protect a child make sure to put it up high enough so they could not reach it. This would be great for pets too. If you want to be a be able to crack the patio door without allowing animals to get out or get near the screen this might be an option. The price seems good for four of these, but we only have one door, so I do not think we need four of them. It says you can use them for other window types too but our other windows crank out so the only one we can use it on is our patio slider. Thanks for reading my review Becky Brooks
