I am equipping my e-bike with this light mounted just under the front basket. I compared this light against a separate light bar that just had an array of leds and I found that I like this one better. I thought it provided a better sense of “see and be seen”. I can’t say that installation is easy since I am doing a custom install on a bicycle with an external battery, but the light portion is not the difficult part of the build. While I wanted this for after hours bike rides, I can see using it during the day as well.

My boyfriend loves off-roading so I surprised him with this. He loved it! I wouldnt say it provides a ton of light to actually go off-roading with just this but it makes for a good back up light. Definitely bright enough to give you some extra light where needed. For the price, definitely worth it.

This product includes the Slim LED light bar, mounting brackets, two size screws for the brackets and light bar assembly, and two size Allen Keys for the two size screws provided. The larger and longer screw is a Hex 5mm or T30 head and the shorter and smaller screw is a Hex 4mm or T25 head. It is possible to mount the brackets with legs facing inwards with a center distance of 6 3/32 or 16.25 mm between the two screws. But using the thick headed screws provided would not be advised unless you want the Light bar to be fixed at the front facing angle. Replacing the larger screws with a equal size flat instead of slot head screw will allow tilt adjustment to the LED Light bar. If mounting the brackets with the feet facing out, the centering distance is 8. Either way, a ¼ drill bit will make a hole big enough for the provided bolt. If available then using a 15/64 drill bit will make a tighter fitting hole for the bolt. After mounting, the unit needs to be wired to a 12v or 24v power source. This is a solid product that comes with all the mounting hardware needed and should be easy for any DIYer to install and wire up.

I bought this to increase the light when backing up and mounted it above my license plate. Works great! It is plenty of light, but this is not for off road lighting -- too small. For 30.00 it solved the problem.

Nice compact LED light bar with dimming capabilities. Light is quite bright at 12v *1st pic) and will smoothly dim down to roughly half output (2nd pic) with No flickering. Runs warm, but that is typical of high output leds. Youll need to keep the heatsink fins unobstructed, but there are no special mounting restrictions other than that. The lead is rather short, about 6 inches, but that is not an issue IMO. Just plan on having some extra hookup wire if more than 6 inches are needed. The output is rated as 30 watts. Based on the size of the individual LEDS, my guess is they are 5w leds, multiply that by the 6 leds, and I think that is how they arrived at the 30w number. With that said, Im quite impressed at the light output from such a small bar. With this size, there are so many possibilities to where and how it can be used. At this price point, I can highly recommend this light bar !

A nice small 12v light bar that would be good for any application where you need a focused beam of light. At 30cm the lighted area is a rectangle approximately 5cm x 20cm. At 8ft away it might be a couple feet across. It also seems to have some internal voltage regulation which would make it great for automotive applications, when tested on the bench with a good power supply the brightness doesnt change between 12v and 22v(the highest I tested), between 12v and 7v it gradually decreases in brightness and then turns off at or below 7v. Thermally(tested @ just under 75degF ambient) it seemed to handle pretty well, after 11minutes of runtime @ 12v drawing nearly 1amp(Which is only 12W, so the 30W rating might be a bit over-estimated) it reached 120degF on the back of the case were the cooling fins are present. Given the warm temps indoors where I was testing it I decided to end the test there, assuming good air movement in a vehicle application and/or lower temps I dont see why this device would have any significant issues with heat. The only real drawback I can see is the very short length of cord that is supplied with the device(20cm), it would be hard to install this in a lot of circumstances w/o having a splice that would be exposed to weather. All my tests were performed on the bench so I cannot speak to its wet weather performance but it seems well built and it appears like it could probably handle some moderately wet weather, that said, Ill probably be installing it on a vehicle in the near future and will update this review if I discover otherwise.

This product is very bright however, it is rather tiny depending on the use you need this for it should come into consideration when purchasing but depending on the use I would recommend to somebody

Was expected the light bar to be little bit bigger but i guess i did not read the description good enough ! check measurements!! it was super bright other then that so i do recommend if you need a small light bar

Start off with saying, anything like this, i dont run on the street. I always consider them for off road only because they act loke flood lights on the road and other drivers never like that. That said, it works perfectly for a little extra light on my tractor for plowing. Its much smaller than I anticipated, so it looks a little odd, but still easily does the job. Fit is universal as any of the style, so ease of install is always dependent on the installer. A couple hose clamps were able to get the job done for me though. Makes things much easier to see wherever its pointed.
