I use it to keep track of mining rig power usage over the month. Works fantastic, accurate and never any problems. Easy set up easy to use. Works great for me if Im not home and I detect a problem I can just shut the whole rig off remotely on my phone. Also has a night light!

Didn’t work with Alexa.

I have a moccamaster coffee maker which is phenomenal for making coffee but light on features (i.e. there is an on/off switch). This smart plug can handle the high amperage and wattage, and paired easily with both my Alexa and google mini (I have both, cause thats how I roll). Now, my coffee is ready by the time I get to the kitchen. A++

Update on May 2021: - One of their recent Firmware updates screwed up the scheduling. As a result, our phone batteries went flat and we missed work due to the missing phone alarms. The company acknowledged their mistakes and apologized for the inconveniences caused. Thats it! Ive been in the industry for more than 20 years and everyone knows you need to have a thorough test plans for such updates. Apology is cheap! Someone needs to get fired up there! In other words, their products are not dependable, which is ironic considering this is an electrical outlet. i used to be quite an invested supporter of this companys products - outlets, light bulbs, air filtration devices etc; recent events have me seriously considering divesting all their products and investing in some other brands instead. Original: - Nothing irks me more than seeing ads on products/devices that Ive paid full price for! After investing hundreds of dollars on this companys products - multiple outlets, light bulbs, air filtration devices, etc., they now have the audacity to put ads onto their app! Imagine getting ads notifications on your phone; imagine getting ads every time you use their app to control one of the many devices you bought from this company! Now, imagine me retiring their products and investing in others instead! Good riddance!

I have a couple different brands of smart plugs and these are by far my favorites. They actually show you the power you are using on your phone app and they have a small night light that comes on when it gets dark. Going to buy two more soon. They are easy to connect and I had them up and running within 10 minutes. You wont be disappointed

This item would not set up at all. I was really hopeful that I found a product that could give me the data I needed. And it wouldnt connect to any of the networks at my home. Save your money this thing wont work.

I have one of these that works great, but the 2nd one I bought is faulty. If you press the side button to turn it on or off, the LED light on the plug changes, but it never actually turns the power on or off on the plug. Using the app to turn the switch on or results in the same behavior.

I bought several of these just based on price. They work great and the app does everything I want. During summer months I have fans turning on and off. But I really like the energy monitoring feature. Quite revealing and has shaped my behavior when I can see exactly how much $$ a device actually costs me in real time (TV, computer, fans, toaster oven, etc). Only complaint is that you cant change the wifi network or password without deleting and reading the device and doing so wipes out the energy history. But the VeSync developers have pushed out several updates in last year so their actively improving functionality.
